Teacher-Initiated Transfers. (a) 1. The Board Union and the Union Employer endorse the concept that voluntary transfers are one method by which teachers experience professional growth. (b) Following 2. Teachers may apply for transfer to any vacant position advertised in a position vacancy notice at the placement time it is posted. 3. The filling of teachers who in the previous school year have been moved vacancies pursuant to Article 22.03 (a) and have been offered a vacant or unfilled position at his/her original this article shall proceed in accordance with Section E.21 of this Agreement. 4. As many transfers as possible shall be finalized prior to June 15 of the school and year. 5. If the placement of surplus teachers pursuant to Articlerequest for transfer is fulfilled, the teacher shall be notified in writing as soon as possible.
