Teacher Pay Period. Effective with the 2013-14 school year teachers shall receive twenty-six (26) biweekly paychecks each representing one twenty-sixth (1/26) of their total pay. 394. Teachers may choose to have their paychecks deposited by the Board directly into the bank handling the school system’s operating and payroll accounts. Funds will be deposited so that they will be available for use at the beginning of the business day of the regularly-scheduled payday. If a payday falls on a bank holiday, funds will be available for use at the beginning of the business day immediately preceding the holiday. A teacher may select the direct deposit option by notifying the Business Office, in writing, at least thirty (30) days before the start of the school year.
