Technical Obsolescence. The systems which are at a risk of technical obsolescence over the operating life of the system should be identified; this should include end-of-sale and end-of-support policies governing the proposed technologies. Forward and backward compatibility need to be considered and mitigation option shall be indicated in detail and shall not be limited to periodic update from OEM/System supplier

Technical Obsolescence. 4.1 Maintenance and Support Services for Software does not cover maintenance and support for technical obsolescence. Technical obsolescence may be caused by any of the following (but is not confined to the following): database obsolescence, operating system obsolescence, communications technology obsolescence, hardware obsolescence, software engineering tools obsolescence.‌‌ 4.2 Maintenance and Support Services of Software for CSS will be limited to CSS problem resolutions and to modifications required to adapt the CSS to accommodate changes to Solutions, but precludes re- implementation of the CSS due to technical obsolescence. 4.3 If during the term of this SSA, Wenco desires to discontinue any Software or products, Wenco shall deliver to Customer notice of the end of life (‘EOL”) date specifying the duration of support available after the EOL Date. Wenco will provide notice as far in advance of the implementation of the discontinuation as practicable but no less than six (6) months prior to the implementation.‌

Related to Technical Obsolescence

  • Obsolescence If Supplier plans to cease production of any Parts after the twenty-year period as detailed in Section 2.3(b) above, then Supplier shall provide Buyer with at least one calendar year’s notice of such event so that Buyer may request a “last-time” buy from Supplier for such Parts. If Supplier plans to cease production of any goods (into which the applicable Parts are incorporated) Buyer purchases under this Order within two (2) years from the date on the Order, Supplier shall provide Buyer with at least one calendar year’s notice of such event so that Buyer may request a “last-time” buy from Supplier of such goods.

  • Consumables During the design phase, Purchaser may participate in the selection of suppliers of consumables of the Supplier. In such case, the choice regarding the final selection of the said suppliers shall be mutually agreed between the Parties. Two suppliers shall be identified and selected for each type of consumables.

  • Product Specifications The Company agrees that all Products sold to Xxxx hereunder shall conform to the respective specifications set forth on Schedule A or to such other specifications as are from time to time agreed upon by the Parties.

  • Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications furnished on the CD are intended to establish the standards for quality, performance and technical requirements for all labor, workmanship, material, methods and equipment necessary to complete the Work. When specifications and drawings are provided or referenced by the County, these are to be considered part of the Scope of Work, and to be specifically documented in the Detailed Scope of Work. For convenience, the County supplied specifications, if any, and the Technical Specifications furnished on the CD.
