TERM OF AGREEMENT – NOTICE OF RENEWAL. A.8.1 This Agreement shall be effective September 1, 2008 and remain in force until August 31, 2012. A.8.2 The Agreement shall continue in force from year to year thereafter unless in any year either party shall furnish the other party with notice of intent to re-negotiate this Agreement. Said notice must be given not more than 90 days nor less than 30 days prior to the end of the contract. Notwithstanding this, either party may notify the other, in writing, within the period commencing April 1 prior to the expiration date, that it desires to negotiate this Agreement in accordance with the Ontario Labour Relations Act. A.8.3 During negotiations on any proposed renewal or revision of this Agreement, the Agreement, in the form in which it may be at the commencement of such negotiations shall remain in full force and effect until a settlement of such negotiations has been reached, or until the conciliation procedure provided under the Ontario Labour Relations Act has been exhausted, whichever first occurs.
