Term of Appointment Without Tenure. An initial appointment at the rank of Professor with eligibility for tenure is for a term of four years. Where the effective date of an initial appointment is after September 1, the length of the initial appointment shall be for a term of four years plus the length of time between the effective date of the appointment and the following June 30.
