Term/Task. and the duration of the leave may be extended to a maximum of three (3) years without re-posting. Upon receipt of a written request at least four (4) weeks in advance the University will return the Employee to the same or comparable position that the Employee was in at the start of the leave. In the event the original position no longer exists such Employee will be placed in a vacancy in the Employees former classification.
