Common use of Terminal Data Acquisition Function Clause in Contracts

Terminal Data Acquisition Function. (a) The Subscriber may use the SORACOM Air Global Service to acquire the IMEI of the terminal using the SORACOM Air Global Service and information regarding the in-range base station(s) of such terminal, and to enable only specified device to telecommunicate (such service, the “Terminal Data Acquisition Function”). (b) Before using the Terminal Data Acquisition Function, the Subscriber shall obtain Subscriber’s Customer’s consent to do so. (c) SORACOM makes no warranties or guarantees as to the integrity of the IMEI and the information regarding the in-range base station(s) acquired thorough the Terminal Data Acquisition Function. SORACOM will provide the Subscriber with the IMEI and the information regarding the in-range base station(s) acquired thorough the telecommunication line. (d) Only in the cases expressly stated in Section 18.2 shall SORACOM indemnify the Subscriber for damages regarding the Terminal Data Acquisition Function under Section 18.2. SORACOM shall not bear any responsibility in relation to changed or missing telecommunication content, system malfunction or any dispute between the Subscriber and any third party. (e) The Subscriber shall use the Terminal Data Acquisition Function according to the method of use and other service provision conditions posted by SORACOM on the SORACOM web site.
