Terminating Traffic Factors Sample Clauses

The 'Terminating Traffic Factors' clause defines the criteria or metrics used to measure and evaluate the volume or characteristics of telecommunications traffic that is terminated on a network. Typically, this clause outlines how traffic is quantified, such as by minutes, calls, or data volume, and may specify the methods for calculating charges or settlements between parties based on these factors. Its core practical function is to ensure both parties have a clear, agreed-upon basis for billing and reconciliation, thereby reducing disputes and ensuring transparency in the management of network traffic.
Terminating Traffic Factors. 30% GTE to Nextel 70% Nextel to GTE 100% Total 2-way Usage The Terminating Traffic Factors describe the level of local usage originating from one Party and terminating to the other Party as a percentage of total 2-way local traffic exchanged between the Parties. For example, a factor of 90% for GTE would mean that, of total 2-way local MOUs exchanged between GTE and Nextel, 90% originated from a Nextel wireless end user customer and terminated to a GTE end user customer. These factors are used to apportion flat rated transport facilities between the Parties and may be used where needed as a billing surrogate. These factors are subject to change based upon mutually acceptable traffic data on no less than a quarterly basis. If factors are not updated quarterly, the Parties shall use the last previously established factors.
Terminating Traffic Factors. 20% GTE to Mountaineer 80% Mountaineer to GTE 100% Total 2-way Usage The Terminating Traffic Factors describe the level of local usage originating from one Party and terminating to the other Party as a percentage of total 2-way local traffic exchanged between the Parties. For example, a factor of 90% for GTE would mean that, of total 2-way local MOUs exchanged betweenGTEandMountaineer, 90%originated from a Mountaineer wireless end user customer and terminated to a GTE end user customer.

  • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.
