Termination of Job Split. (a) The incumbent in a split position is entitled to terminate the job split upon three (3) months notice in writing to the supervisor, the non-incumbent and Human Resources. Upon the expiration of the notice, the non-incumbent will be terminated.

Termination of Job Split. ‌ (a) The incumbent in a split position is entitled to terminate the job split upon three (3) months’ notice in writing to the supervisor, the non-incumbent and Human Resources. Upon the expiration of the notice, the non-incumbent will be terminated. (b) If the incumbent vacates the position, with or without notice, the non-incumbent will be terminated and shall be treated the same way as a temporary employee whose appointment has ended. (c) A non-incumbent who is terminated in accordance with (a) or (b) above, shall retain their seniority for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the termination.
