Termination, Suspension and/or Delay of Work. It is understood and agreed that the City, at its sole option, may change, terminate, delay and/or suspend any and all portions of the covered work at any time. Further, the City may prohibit some or all work on certain days or during certain hours of the day to comply with applicable codes, laws or regulations, permits or to accommodate the ongoing operations of the City’s facilities and/or to mitigate the effect of the ongoing Projects’ work on the businesses and residents in the neighborhood of the Project sites; and/or require such other operational or schedule changes that may be deemed necessary, in its sole judgment, to effectively maintain the primary purpose of the City’s facilities and to remain a good neighbor to the residents and businesses in the area of any Projects. In order to permit the Contractors and Unions to make appropriate scheduling plans, the City will provide the affected Contractor and Union(s) with reasonable notice of any changes it requires pursuant to this Section.

  • Suspension of Work The Department may, at its sole discretion, suspend any or all activities under the Contract, at any time, when it is in the best interest of the State of Florida to do so. The Customer may suspend a resulting contract or purchase order, at any time, when in the best interest of the Customer to do so. The Department or Customer will provide the Contractor written notice outlining the particulars of the suspension. After receiving a suspension notice, the Contractor must comply with the notice and will cease the performance of the Contract or purchase order. Suspension of work will not entitle the Contractor to any additional compensation. The Contractor will not resume performance of the Contract or purchase order until so authorized by the Department.

  • Termination; Suspension (a) Either Party may terminate this Compact without cause in its entirety by giving the other Party thirty (30) days’ prior written notice. MCC may also terminate this Compact or MCC Funding without cause in part by giving the Government thirty (30) days’ prior written notice.

  • TERM, TERMINATION & SUSPENSION The Company may terminate this Agreement with You at any time for any reason, with or without cause.   • Termination and Suspension Customer is entitled to suspend the performance of its obligations in whole or in part or terminate the Agreement with immediate effect, without prejudice to its right to claim damages and without any compensation to or indemnification of Supplier (i) in case Supplier has been declared bankrupt, is in a state of liquidation, has ceased or suspended whole or a substantial part of its business, is subject of a court order or preventative legal scheme of settlement, (ii) in case of non- compliance with the Compliance Requirements or the provisions of safety, health, environment and security or (iii) in case of not approved changes pursuant to article 10. After such termination Customer may return received Goods and/or Services in whole or partly against repayment and retransfer of ownership therein to Supplier.

  • Term Termination and Suspension 18.1 This Agreement shall be effective from the Effective Date for the Term. The Service shall commence on the Commencement Date and continue until the Completion Date, whereupon this Agreement shall expire unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms.
