Common use of Testing of Metering Equipment Clause in Contracts

Testing of Metering Equipment. Connecting Transmission Owner shall inspect and test all of its Metering Equipment upon installation and at least once every two (2) years thereafter. If requested to do so by NYISO or Developer, Connecting Transmission Owner shall, at Developer’s expense, inspect or test Metering Equipment more frequently than every two (2) years. Connecting Transmission Owner shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission Owner’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two one percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting the owner of the Metering Equipment shall inform Transmission Owner Provider, and the Transmission Provider shall adjust inform the measurements by correcting other Interconnected Entity, of the need to correct all measurements made by the inaccurate meter for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check metersthe inaccurate measurements were made, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period can be determined. If the period of inaccurate measurement cannot be reasonably ascertaineddetermined, the adjustment correction shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment that is equal to one-one- half of the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO , provided that the period subject to correction shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any timenot exceed nine (9) months.

Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission OwnerNational Grid’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s Owners’ property at any time.

Connecting Transmission Owner shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission Owner’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner shall pay. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half one‐half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

If requested SERVICE AGREEMENT NO. 1757 to do so by NYISO or Developer, Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall, at Developer’s expense, inspect or test Metering Equipment more frequently than every two (2) years. Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission OwnerNational Grid’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner National Grid shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s Owners’ property at any time.

Testing of Metering Equipment. Connecting Transmission Owner IPA shall inspect and test all of its IPA-owned Metering Equipment upon installation and at least once every two (2) years thereafter. If , and if requested to do so by NYISO or DeveloperInterconnection Customer, Connecting Transmission Owner shall, at Developer’s expense, shall inspect or test Metering Equipment more frequently than every two (2) years. Connecting Transmission Owner All such testing and inspections shall be at the expense of Interconnection Customer pursuant to Section 7.1 of this Agreement. IPA shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO Interconnection Customer may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at DeveloperInterconnection Customer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission Owner’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent (2%) from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner IPA shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using DeveloperInterconnection Customer’s check meters, if installedinstalled and if calibrated and tested in accordance with applicable ANSI Standards. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. Connecting Transmission Owner Provider shall inspect and test all of its Transmission Provider-owned Metering Equipment upon installation and at least once every two (2) years thereafter. If requested to do so by NYISO or DeveloperInterconnection Customer, Connecting Transmission Owner Provider shall, at Developer’s Interconnection Customer's expense, inspect or test Metering Equipment more frequently than every two (2) years. Connecting Transmission Owner Provider shall give reasonable notice of the time when any inspection or test shall take place, and Developer and NYISO Interconnection Customer may have representatives present at the test or inspection. If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s Interconnection Customer's expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due solely to Connecting Transmission Owner’s Provider's failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner Provider shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner Provider shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s Interconnection Customer's check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

If no such check meters SERVICE AGREEMENT NO. 2682 are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment Metering Equipment installation on the DeveloperInterconnection Customer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time. Metering Data. At Interconnection Customer’s expense, the metered data shall be telemetered to one or more locations designated by Transmission Owner, Interconnection Customer, and NYISO. Such telemetered data shall be used, under normal operating conditions, as the official measurement of the amount of Energy delivered from the Large Generating Facility to the Point of Interconnection. COMMUNICATIONS Interconnection Customer Obligations. Interconnection Customer shall maintain satisfactory operating communications with Transmission Owner and NYISO. Interconnection Customer shall provide standard voice line, dedicated voice line and facsimile communications at its Large Generating Facility control room or central dispatch facility through use of either the public telephone system, or a voice communications system that does not rely on the public telephone system. Interconnection Customer shall also provide the dedicated data circuit(s) necessary to provide Interconnection Customer data to Transmission Owner and NYISO as set forth in Appendix D hereto. The data circuit(s) shall extend from the Large Generating Facility to the location(s) specified by Transmission Owner and NYISO. Any required maintenance of such communications equipment shall be performed by Interconnection Customer. Operational communications shall be activated and maintained under, but not be limited to, the following events: system paralleling or separation, scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns, equipment clearances, and hourly and daily load data.

If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at DeveloperDeveloper’sConnecting Transmission Owner’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission Owner’s failure to maintain, then then. Connecting Transmission Owner shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering EquipmentEquipmentand NYISO shall address the loss of meter data or meter data anomalies in accordance with ISO Procedures. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Transmission Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

At Transmission Developer’s expense, the metered data shall be telemetered to one or more locations designated by Connecting Transmission Owner, Developer and NYISO. Such telemetered data shall be used, under normal operating conditions, as the official measurement of the amount of energy delivered from the Large Generating Facility to the Point of Interconnectionat the Metering Points.

If at any time Metering Equipment is found to be inaccurate or defective, it shall be adjusted, repaired or replaced at Developer’s expense, in order to provide accurate metering, unless the inaccuracy or defect is due to Connecting Transmission Owner’s failure to maintain, then Connecting Transmission Owner shall pay. If Metering Equipment fails to register, or if the measurement made by Metering Equipment during a test varies by more than two percent from the measurement made by the standard meter used in the test, Connecting Transmission Owner shall adjust the measurements by correcting all measurements for the period during which Metering Equipment was in error by using Developer’s check meters, if installed. If no such check meters are installed or if the period cannot be reasonably ascertained, the adjustment shall be for the period immediately preceding the test of the Metering Equipment equal to one-half the time from the date of the last previous test of the Metering Equipment. The NYISO shall reserve the right to review all associated metering equipment installation on the Developer’s or Connecting Transmission Owner’s property at any time.

Testing of Metering Equipment. Connecting Transmission Owner shall inspect and test all of its Metering Equipment upon installation and at least once every two (2) years thereafter. If requested to do so by NYISO or Developer, Connecting Transmission Owner shall, at Developer’s expense, inspect or test Metering Equipment more frequently than every two (2) years.
