Common use of The Procedure Clause in Contracts

The Procedure. 1. Level One a. The party with a grievance will first discuss it with his/her principal or immediate supervisor within 15 days from the time the grievant knew or should have known of the incident giving rise to the grievance with the objective of resolving the matter formally. b. If the grievant is not satisfied with the formal disposition of his/her grievance, he/she may communicate a written grievance with his/her principal within ten (10) days of the informal meeting. The principal shall make a written decision within ten (10) days of receipt of the written grievance and attach it to the original grievance. Copies shall be sent to the grievant within five (5) days of the decision.
