Tier A - Thirty Years of Continuous Service as a Safety Member. Through the term of this Memorandum of Understanding and any extensions thereof, a DSA member with credit for more than 30 years of continuous service as a safety member shall not make payments from his or her retirement base to pay part of the employer’s contribution for the cost of Safety Tier A.
