Health Benefits for Employees Not Otherwise Covered. To access County health plans, an employee represented by the Association who is not otherwise eligible for health coverage by the County, must be eligible to receive an offer of coverage from the County under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) (42 U.S.C. § 18081). Employees eligible to receive an offer of coverage (and qualified dependents), will be offered access to the County’s lowest cost, single individual health insurance plan as determined by the County. Employees will be responsible for the full premium cost of coverage. This provision is not subject to the grievance process.

However, the Employer will not continue payment of the Dental Plan or any other benefit plan, and employees will not be entitled to subscribe to same under any conditions.
