Time for Filing Application. Application for parental leave prior to or after the birth of a child should be made seventy-five (75) days before the beginning date of the parental leave. The Bargaining Unit Member's failure to make a timely application may be grounds for denying the approval of parental leave. The seventy-five (75) day notice may be waived with superintendent approval.
