Common use of Time Limits to File Clause in Contracts

Time Limits to File. A grievance must be filed with the Employer within thirty (30) calendar days following the date the grievance is alleged to have occurred or within thirty (30) calendar days after the employee should reasonably have known of the occurrence leading to the grievance. An xxxxxxx effort shall be made by both parties to settle grievances promptly at the earliest step, in accordance with the following procedure.
