Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance. An employee may initiate the written grievance at Step Two of the grievance procedure, in the manner prescribed in Article 8.4 (Step Two), not later than 21 calendar days after the date:
(a) on which he/she was notified orally or in writing, of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance;
(b) on which he/she first became aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.
Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance. An employee who wishes to present a grievance at Step 2 of the grievance procedure, in the manner prescribed in Article 9.4, must do so not later than thirty (30) days after the date:
(a) on which she was notified orally or in writing of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance; or
(b) on which she first became aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.
(a) Subject to the time limits in Article 9.3, the employee may present a grievance at this level by:
(1) recording the grievance on the appropriate grievance form, setting out the nature of the grievance and the circumstances from which it arose;
(2) stating the Article or Articles of the Agreement violated or alleged to have been violated, and the remedy or correction required; and
(3) transmitting this grievance to the designated local supervisor through the Union xxxxxxx.
(b) The local supervisor shall:
(1) forward the grievance to the representative of the Employer authorized to deal with grievances at Step 2; and
(2) provide the employee with a receipt stating the date on which the grievance was received.
Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance. An employee who wishes to present a grievance at Step 2 of the grievance procedure, in the manner prescribed in Clause 9.4 (Step 2), must do so not later than 30 days after the date:
(a) on which they were notified orally or in writing of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance; or
(b) on which they first became aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.
(a) Subject to the time limits in Clause 9.3 (Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance), the employee may present a grievance at this level by:
(1) recording the grievance on the appropriate grievance form, setting out the nature of the grievance and the circumstances from which it arose;

8.4 Step 2 Subject to the time limits in Article 8.3, the employee may present a grievance at this level by:
(a) recording the grievance on the appropriate grievance form, setting out the nature of the grievance and the circumstances from which it arose;
(b) stating the article(s) or clause(s) of the Agreement infringed upon or alleged to have been violated and the remedy or correction required; and
(c) transmitting the grievance to the Employer designate through the Union Xxxxxxx.

(b) The General Manager or their designate shall acknowledge receipt of the written grievance by signing and dating the grievance form at the time that the grievance is presented.
Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance. −An employee who wishes to present a grievance at Step 2 of the grievance procedure, in the manner prescribed above, must do so no later than ten (10) days after the date:
(1) On which s/he was notified orally or in writing, of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance; or
(2) on which s/he first become aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance, whichever occurs first.
(1) Subject to the time limits below, the employee may present a grievance at this level by: recording her/his grievance on the appropriate form, setting out the nature of the grievance and the circumstances from which it arose;
(i) stating the article(s) or clause(s) of the Agreement infringed upon or alleged to have been violated and the remedy or correction required; and
(ii) transmitting her/his grievance to the Department manager and/or Personnel Manager through the Union xxxxxxx.
(2) The Department Manager and/or Personnel Manager shall provide the xxxxxxx with a receipt stating the date on which the grievance was received.

(5) The Employer's Step 2 designate will be a senior supervisor, shift manager or department manager.
Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance. If the Step 1 dispute is not resolved orally, the aggrieved employee may submit a written grievance through the Union Xxxxxxx to Step 2 of the grievance procedure, within ten (10) calendar days after completion of Step 1:
(a) on which he/she was notified, orally or in writing, of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance; or
(b) on which he/she first became aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.
(a) Subject to the time limits in 8.4, the employee, the President of the Union or his/her designate may present a grievance at this level by:
(1) recording the grievance on the appropriate grievance form, setting out the nature of the grievance and the circumstances from which it arose;
(2) stating the article or articles of the Agreement infringed upon or alleged to have been violated, and the remedy or correction required; and
(3) transmitting this grievance to the designated local supervisor or his/her designate through the Union official; The parties, including the aggrieved, shall meet to investigate and attempt to resolve the grievance.
(b) The local supervisor shall:
(1) forward the grievance to the representative of the Employer authorized to deal with grievances at Step 2; and
(2) provide the employee with a receipt stating the date on which the grievance was received.
Time Limits to Present Initial Grievance. Any employee who wishes to present a grievance as in Article 9.02 of the grievance procedure in the manner prescribed in Article 9.13 must do so no later than thirty (30) days after the date:
1. on which the employee was notified orally or in writing of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance;
2. on which the employee first became aware of the action or circumstances giving rise to the grievance.
