Common use of Time Off Work For Union Business Clause in Contracts

Time Off Work For Union Business. (a) Duly authorized representatives of the Union, as designated by the Union, shall be granted reasonable time off during regular working hours to perform their duties and this time shall be deemed to be time worked. (b) Requests for time off for Union business pursuant to this Clause 27.02 shall take precedence over any other application for time off on the same day(s).

(a) Duly authorized Employees who are representatives of the Union, as designated by the Union, shall may be granted reasonable time off during regular their working hours to perform their duties and this time shall be deemed to be time workedworked providing the employee does not leave the premises. (b) Requests Time off work with pay for time off for one day shall be granted to one Employee who is appointed by the Union business pursuant to this Clause 27.02 shall take precedence over any other application for time off on the same day(s)bargaining committee and participate in collective bargaining.

(a) Duly authorized representatives of the Union, as designated by the Union, shall be granted reasonable time off during regular working hours to perform their duties and this time shall be deemed to be time worked, provided that it does not interfere with their work or is exercised in an unreasonable manner. (b) Requests for time off for Union business pursuant to this Clause 27.02 shall take precedence over any other application for time off on the same day(s).
