Timeline and Explanation.
1. Prior to March 1 of each year, all non-classroom certificated staff will have the opportunity to learn about PGO opportunities, process and requirements (to include but not limited to goal setting) that are available to them.
2. By the week after Spring Break, interested non-classroom certificated employees may submit an “Interest to Participate” Form E to their current administrator.
3. Notification of “early” acceptance into the PGO program may occur by May 15.
4. A review of the PGO process will occur during one of the non-student days before the opening of school.
5. Final applications for PGO will be submitted by September 25.
6. Written notification of acceptance or denial using Form E will occur by October 5.
7. Participant and administrator will collaborate to finalize goal(s) and create a PGO Plan on Form F not later than November 1.
8. Not later than February 1, each PGO participant and evaluator will conference to assess progress towards goals.
9. The third and final required conference between the participant and the administrator and completion of the Reflection Form on Form G must be submitted without exception not later than the last student day of the school year.
