Common use of Township Financial Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

Township Financial Responsibilities. It is the intention of the Township that in providing services, the Cooperating Volunteer Agency is held harmless that, except as expressly set forth in this Agreement to the contrary or as arising out of the negligence or willful misconduct of any Cooperating Volunteer Agency company (or, as applicable, any officer, official, agent, or employee of any Cooperating Volunteer Agency company), no Cooperating Volunteer Agency company shall have any financial responsibility for, or liability arising out of, any firefighting activities provided to the Township by the Cooperating Volunteer Agency fire company under the express terms of this Agreement, such activities being solely within the control and under the direction of the Township and the Lower Xxxxxx Township Bureau of Fire.
