Trade Relations Governed by Other Agreements. 1. This Agreement shall not prevent the maintenance or establishment of customs unions, free trade areas or arrangements for cross-border trade of the Parties with third countries to the extent that these do not negatively affect the trade regime and in particular the provisions concerning rules of origin provided for in this Agreement. 2. Consultations between the Parties shall take place within the Joint Committee concerning agreements establishing customs unions or free trade areas and, where appropriate, on other major issues related to their respective trade policies with third countries. Such consultations shall take place so as to ensure that account is taken of the mutual interests of the Parties stated in this Agreement.

The Parties, without prejudice to the rights and obligations provided for in this Agreement, preserve the right to maintain or establish customs unions, free trade areas or other arrangements with third countries. 2. In case the rights and obligations provided for under this Agreement are being affected, any Party may request to hold consultations within the Joint Committee concerning agreements establishing or adjusting customs unions or free trade areas and, where required, on other major issues related to the Parties’ respective trade policies with third countries.

  • Conflicts with Other Agreements In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms of this Agreement and any employment, severance or other agreement between the Company and the Participant, the terms of this Agreement shall govern.

  • Conflict With Other Agreement If there is a conflict between this Agreement and any other agreement relating to a Collateral Account, this Agreement will govern.
