Common use of Transfer (Permanent) to Supervisory Position Clause in Contracts

Transfer (Permanent) to Supervisory Position. A nurse who is permanently transferred to a supervisory or confidential position beyond the scope of this Agreement and is later transferred to a position within the scope of this Agreement shall retain the seniority previously acquired in the bargaining unit and shall have added thereto the seniority accumulated while serving in such position for a period not exceeding six (6) months. She shall retain her first date of hire with the Employer, however, for the calculation of the amount of monetary benefits to which she is entitled.
