Common use of TRANSFERS OUT OF ASSOCIATION Clause in Contracts

TRANSFERS OUT OF ASSOCIATION. If an employee transfers out of the Association to another position with the Board and subsequently returns to a position represented by the Association within one (1) calendar year of the transfer, the employee shall retain current seniority as of the date transferred out of the bargaining unit. At the completion of one calendar year, seniority within the Association is terminated and will not be reinstated (see Article 10 D.).
