Common use of Transition of Fire Investigations Clause in Contracts

Transition of Fire Investigations. During the transition period, the DFMs will provide support and training to the fire investigation program, including direct training and evaluation to the fire suppression personnel assigned to the Program as they complete their Fire Investigator Certification Task Book. The DFMs’ roles as a trainer/evaluator will primarily occur when responding to calls to conduct a fire investigation, either during their regular work schedule or while on-call. Once the Program is fully operational with suppression staff conducting fire investigations, existing DFMs in JC #8147SM will continue conducting fire investigations during their normal working hours, and may need to be available to fire suppression investigation staff after- hours.
