Common use of Transmission Limits Clause in Contracts

Transmission Limits. An EIM Entity Scheduling Coordinator must notify the CAISO by the means specified in the Business Practice Manual with respect to transmission limits on the transmission facilities made available within the EIM Entity Balancing Authority Area that need to be enforced in the EIM, including— (1) physical MVA or MW limits under base case and contingencies; (2) scheduling limits for intertie transactions based on e-tags; and (3) contractual limits on transmission interfaces where the EIM Entity Balancing Authority Area has transmission rights.
