Common use of Transmission Method Clause in Contracts

Transmission Method. Information regarding a Transaction transmitted with a computer, magnetic stripe, or chip reading terminal will be transmitted by Merchant to Service Providers as specified by Service Providers. The means of transmission indicated in the Merchant Application shall be the exclusive means used by Merchant until Merchant has provided Service Providers with at least thirty (30) days’ prior written notice of Merchant’s intention to change the means of such delivery or otherwise alter in any material respect Merchant’s medium of transmission of data to Service Providers. Service Providers shall have the right to refuse and cancel the agreement upon such notice.
