Common use of Travelling and Subsistence Clause in Contracts

Travelling and Subsistence. In the case of employees of the Recipient engaged in the Programme of Work, any travelling and subsistence expenses necessarily incurred in the UK for the purposes of the Programme of Work will be payable at the same rates and under the same conditions as are customary for the Recipient. The rates of travelling and subsistence allowances payable for travel abroad will be payable at the same rates and under the same conditions as are customary for the Recipient for employees of equivalent status.
