Tuition Payments Article X Miscellaneous. The Employer agrees to reimburse tuition payments at Dutchess Community College, BOCES, local high school evening divisions, public secondary institutions, or at any college or university (if the course is not available at Dutchess Community College), for Employees who have taken and successfully complete job-related courses, which will improve the skills of such Employees. Reimbursement shall be subject to approval of a committee composed of the Sheriff, plus two (2) members of management appointed by the Sheriff and two (2) Employees appointed by the Union. All applications for tuition payment reimbursement shall be submitted on or before dates determined by the committee, which shall meet five times annually to review and act upon such applications. During each contract year, the total of all approved annual tuition payment reimbursements shall not exceed twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00). To be eligible for payments hereunder, an Employee must have completed the requisite probationary period.
