Two Shift Operations. On a consecutive shift operation, no shift penalty is involved for work performed on either of these two shifts if regular hours of work on each shift are eight (8) hours of continuous employment. If two four-ten (4-10) hour shifts are established, the regular hours of work on the first shift shall be ten hours of continuous employment, except for meal period at mid shift, at the straight time rate.
