Common use of UAB Procedures Clause in Contracts

UAB Procedures. The UAB shall establish its own procedures, provided that they do not contravene any provisions of the Agreement. The Xxxxxxx and the AAUP shall convene an initial meeting of all regular members and alternate members of the UAB within the first month of each Spring semester. At this meeting, the regular members of the UAB shall select a Chairperson from among the regular members who have served at least one (1) year. In addition, the Xxxxxxx or his/her representative and the President of the AAUP or his/her representative shall instruct the UAB of its responsibilities; the Xxxxxxx and the AAUP may each invite an attorney to be present at this meeting.
