UK Bribery Act Sample Clauses
The UK Bribery Act clause establishes that parties must comply with the UK Bribery Act 2010, which prohibits bribery and corrupt practices in business dealings. This clause typically requires all parties to implement adequate procedures to prevent bribery, such as staff training, internal policies, and reporting mechanisms, and may obligate them to notify each other of any breaches. Its core function is to ensure legal compliance and ethical conduct, thereby reducing the risk of criminal liability and reputational damage associated with bribery offenses.
