Common use of Umbrella or Excess Liability Clause in Contracts

Umbrella or Excess Liability. The Contactor may satisfy the minimum liability limits required for the CGL and Automobile Liability under an Umbrella or Excess Liability policy. There is no minimum per occurrence limit of liability under the Umbrella or Excess Liability; however, the annual aggregate limit shall not be less than the highest “Each Occurrence” limit for either CGL or Automobile Liability. The Contractor agrees to an endorsement naming the County as an additional insured as provided in Section 7 unless the Umbrella or Excess Liability provides coverage on a “Follow-Form” basis.‌
