Common use of Unbundled Procedure(s) Clause in Contracts

Unbundled Procedure(s). (1) Unbundling occurs when Claims list 2 or more procedure codes to describe the same Surgery when 1 more comprehensive code would best describe the entire Surgery. We rebundle the procedures and assign the more comprehensive code.

(1) Unbundling occurs when Claims list 2 two (2) or more procedure codes are used to describe the same Surgery performed when 1 a single, more comprehensive procedure code would best describe exists that accurately describes the entire SurgerySurgery performed. We rebundle The unbundled procedures will be rebundled for assignment of the procedures and assign the more comprehensive proper procedure code, as determined by Us.
