Uniform Customs. With respect to any Letter of Credit, the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (1993 Revision), International Chamber of Commerce Publication No. 500, or any successor version thereof adopted by the Agent in the ordinary course of its business as a letter of credit issuer and in effect at the time of issuance of such Letter of Credit.

Uniform Customs. Each Letter of Credit, except as specifically provided therein or as agreed to by the Issuing Lender as permitted herein, and subject to any provision hereof to the contrary, will be subject to the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits of the International Chamber of Commerce current at the time of issuance or renewal of such Letter of Credit.

APPENDIX C LETTER OF INDEMNITY In consideration of your paying for the cargo of US barrels of Xxxxx System crude oil per tanker which sailed from Sullom Voe on loaded with such cargo when the documents required by or pursuant to the contract ('the documents') are not available as so required at the time payment is due under our contract dated (the "Contract") It is agreed that:-
Uniform Customs. Except as otherwise expressly stated in any Letter of Credit, Borrower agrees (A) that L/C Issuer and any of L/C Issuer’s correspondents may receive and accept as a “Xxxx of Lading” under any Letter of Credit any document issued or purportedly issued by or on behalf of any carrier which acknowledges receipt of Property, whatever the specific provisions of such document; and (B) that L/C Issuer and any of L/C Issuer’s correspondents may accept documents of any character which purportedly comply with the current Uniform Customs, or which comply with the laws or regulations in force in the customs and usages of the place of negotiation. In addition, any Standby Letter of Credit shall be governed by and construed in accordance with International Standby Practices, Publication No. 590 of the International Chamber of Commerce (“ISP98”). As to matters not covered by ISP98 and to the extent not inconsistent with ISP98, such Standby Letter of Credit shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, including the Uniform Commercial Code as in effect in the State of New York.
Uniform Customs. The Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits as most recently published by the International Chamber of Commerce (the “Uniform Customs”) shall in all respects apply to each Letter of Credit unless expressly provided to the contrary therein and shall be deemed for such purpose to be a part of this Agreement as if fully incorporated herein. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the Uniform Customs and the governing law of this Agreement, the Uniform Customs shall, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law, prevail to the extent necessary to remove the conflict or inconsistency.
