Common use of - Union Access To Personnel Records Clause in Contracts

- Union Access To Personnel Records. (a) The Union shall be considered the employees designee consistent with the Recognition Clauses contained in Article 1.2 of this Agreement and the Maryland Public Information Act, to the extent that it applies, with regards to the following personnel records: (1) Disciplinary Actions (2) RIF Notices (3) Demotion (4) Promotion (5) Reduction-in-salary (6) Employee overpayments (b) The employee may at any time revoke this designation in writing to the Director of Office of Human Resources, with a copy to the Union President. (c) This designation shall last for the entirety of the employee’s tenure as a Xxxxxxxxxx County employee, unless revoked in writing. (d) Copies of the above documents shall automatically be sent to the Union unless a revocation has been issued by the employee. (e) The personnel records listed in subsection (a) shall contain the employee address, work phone and home phone number, and e-mail address.
