- Union Access To Personnel Records. ‌ A. Upon receipt of written authorization from an Employee, a designated Union Representative, Union Officer, or Xxxxxxx will have the right to inspect the Employee’s personnel record upon reasonable notice and at reasonable times, in the presence of Human Resources staff. B. Upon receipt of written authorization from an Employee, the Union may request copies from the Human Resources Director of documents from an Employee’s personnel record at no cost to the Union. C. Union Representatives, Union Officers and Stewards who may gain access to confidential information will handle such confidential information in a manner to ensure the Employee’s right to privacy is protected.
