Union Activities and Employee Representation. SECTION 1 – Definition The term “employee” as used in this Agreement, shall mean an employee included in the bargaining unit represented by the Federation of Physicians and Dentists, (Union).
Union Activities and Employee Representation. It is the policy of the Union and the state that the President of AFSCME Council 79 shall be responsible for all Union decisions relating to employee representative and Union activities covered by this Contract. The parties agree that the President may delegate certain activities; provided however, that the President or a member of the President’s staff will handle those Union activities which require action by or coordination with the Governor or the Governor’s designated representative.
