Common use of Union Activities on Employer’s Time and Premises Clause in Contracts

Union Activities on Employer’s Time and Premises. 14.2.1 The Employer agrees that during working hours, on the Employer’s premises and without loss of pay, President, Vice-President and/or Secretary/Treasurer shall be allowed to: • Post Union notices. • Distribute Union literature during coffee breaks or other non-working time. • Attend negotiation meetings. • Transmit communications, authorized by the Local Union or its officers to the Employer or his/her representative. • Consult with the Employer, his/her representative, local Union officers, or other Union representatives concerning the enforcement of any provisions of this Agreement.

Union Activities on Employer’s Time and Premises. 14.2.1 2.6.1 The Employer agrees that during working hours, work hours and for reasonable periods of time on the Employer’s premises and without loss of pay, Presidentthe Union President and employees at each facility designated as Union Representatives, Vice-President and/or Secretary/Treasurer whose names are submitted to the Chief in writing by the Union, shall be allowed toto engage in the following activities when necessary: • Post - post Union notices. • Distribute Union literature during coffee breaks or other non-working time. • Attend negotiation meetings. • Transmit communicationsnotices and literature, - transmit communications authorized by the Local Union or its officers to the Employer or his/her representative. • Consult his representatives at each facility; and - consult with the Employer, his/her representative, local Union officers, Employer or other Union through his representatives concerning the enforcement of any provisions of this AgreementAgreement at a mutually agreed time.
