Common use of Union/Company Committee Meeting Clause in Contracts

Union/Company Committee Meeting. a) The Employer and the Union Bargaining Committee shall meet quarterly, or as otherwise mutually agreed, to discuss matters of mutual concern and interest. A CAW Representative (National or Local) may also attend this meeting. A request for a meeting shall be made in writing at least one (1) week in advance of the date proposed and will be accompanied by a proposed agenda of matters for discussion. b) Union Committee member(s) who attend a Union/Company Committee meeting will be paid her straight time hourly rate of pay for all scheduled hours of work lost due to attendance at such meeting. c) The parties agree that a Joint Union/Company Committee meeting will be held every three (3) months provided there are common matters for discussion.
