Union Information Meeting for New Employees. A Union representative shall be given an opportunity to meet and acquaint new employees with the benefits and duties of Union membership and his/her responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union. Such meeting shall take place within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes at such time as mutually agreed between the Union and the Department Manager. Department Managers must ensure that a new employee works no longer than four (4) weeks before attending these meetings.
