Paid Holiday Entitlement. Paid Holiday Entitlement. An employee will not be entitled to a paid holiday unless she has worked at least fifteen (15) of the last thirty (30) days before the holiday. Any day for which an employee receives pay from the Employer for holiday, vacation or paid leaves shall be deemed to be a day worked for the purpose of this Clause.
Paid Holiday Entitlement a. Staff employees shall be entitled to all Paid Holidays as set out in Article 15.01 (a) and (b) unless they are on layoff at the time of the Paid Holiday and have not worked eleven (11) days in the thirty (30) calendar days immediately preceding the Paid Holiday.

Paid Holiday Entitlement. A seasonal employee who has attained thirty-six (36) months of accumulated service as a seasonal employee shall be entitled thereafter to the provisions set out in this section, provided they retain their seasonal status.

Paid Holiday Entitlement. 12.1.1 All employees shall have the following holidays off with pay at the regular rates of pay: New Year’s Day Victoria Day Labour Day Christmas Day Good Friday Canada Day Thanksgiving Day Boxing Day Easter Sunday Easter Monday Saskatchewan Day Remembrance Day Family Day National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and any other day proclaimed by the Federal or Provincial Government and all special holidays declared by the Employer.
12.1.2 When a paid holiday falls during an employee’s vacation days, day off or day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to one (1) additional day off. The choice of the alternative day off requested by the employee shall be approved by the Superintendent of Human Resource Services or designate. The exception is Easter Sunday which will only be recognized if the employee is scheduled to work on that date.

Academic Year Employees The Board recognizes the following as paid holidays for academic year employees for the following days, which fall within their work year: • New Year's Day • Family Day • Good Friday • Easter Monday • Victoria Day • Labour Day • Thanksgiving Day • Remembrance Day • Christmas Day • Boxing Day or any civically proclaimed holiday within the employee’s work year.
