Common use of Union Official-Full Time Clause in Contracts

Union Official-Full Time. Upon written request to the Company made by the Union a reasonable period in advance, an employee certified by the Union to be a full-time Union official shall be granted a leave of absence without pay to engage in work pertaining to the business of the Union. The number of employees granted such leaves of absence shall not exceed four (4) at any time.
