Common use of Union Political Action Committee Clause in Contracts

Union Political Action Committee. Pursuant to legislation, the State shall upon presentation of a proper and duly authorized form, deduct from the salary of each employee in the negotiations unit a sum specified by the Union and not to exceed the limits prescribed by law, for the purpose of contributing to an appropriate Union Political Action Committee. This provision applies to present and future members and non-member employees in the negotiations units. The fee deduction referred to above shall be forwarded to the Union promptly and in accordance with the provisions of applicable law.
