Union Request for Investigation of Applicants’ Qualifications. A) The Union representative on the Staffing Panel may request a further investigation of an applicant’s qualifications. Such investigation may be in the form of: • contacting the applicant to obtain additional relevant information; • inviting the applicant before the panel for a personal assessment of his qualifications; or • any other method as may be deemed appropriate by the panel. B) Such requests shall not be unreasonably forthcoming, nor shall they be unreasonably denied.
