STAFFING PROCEDURES. 1. All tenured teachers will be assigned according to the Elementary Staffing Memo and the staffing procedure outlined below. 2. At each stage of the staffing process, the Human Resources Manager responsible for Elementary Teachers shall provide the Union a listing of the available openings prior to the start of each stage. In addition, a report including the following shall also be provided: • the names of the bargaining unit members who applied to each position; • the names of the bargaining unit members interviewed for each position; and • the successful candidate for each position. Receipt of this report by the Union shall occur as soon as possible, but no later than five (5) working days after the position has been filled. 3. Any teacher who is under performance review, or is subject to ongoing disciplinary action, will be placed at his or her current school subject to the surplus provisions of the collective agreement.

STAFFING PROCEDURES. SECTION A A vacancy shall be defined as a newly created position or a present position that has been permanently vacated and which will be filled by the Board. SECTION B Whenever any permanent vacancy in the bargaining unit shall occur, the Board shall publicize the same by appropriate posting and giving written notice of such vacancy to the president of the Association. The vacancy will remain posted for a minimum period of ten (10) calendar days and will not be permanently filled until the expiration thereof. SECTION C Interested bargaining unit members possessing the appropriate qualifications may apply in writing to the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel or a designee within the ten (10) day posting period, and shall be given an initial screening committee interview. SECTION D Vacancies will be filled with the applicant from within or outside the bargaining unit whom the Board considers to be the most qualified for the position. Bargaining unit employees who are qualified will be given consideration for the vacancy. The Board will consider certification, professional background and attainments of all applicants, years of service, quality of job performance, experience and other relevant factors. The decision of the Board will be final and not subject to the grievance procedure. SECTION E Administrators are subject to assignment and transfer at the discretion of the Board. SECTION F It is expressly understood that no bargaining unit member will gain tenure in any administrative position.
STAFFING PROCEDURES. The Board of Education reserves all rights to assign members of the Association to any position they are qualified to perform. Such transfers shall not result in a change in salary for the year in which they occur - however, if an administrator is transferred to a lower paying position, they will receive the salary for that position beginning with the next school year.

STAFFING PROCEDURES. (a) The following procedures are subject to the reassignment provisions in Articles 11.15 and 11.16. (b) The staffing procedure is based on two (2) factors: status (whether the vacancy is a permanent position or a term position) and the frequency with which it is competed (whether or not it is a “frequently competed position” as defined below). Therefore, the staffing procedures address four types of vacancies: (i) frequently competed permanent positions; (ii) non-frequently competed permanent positions; (iii) frequently competed administrative term positions; and
STAFFING PROCEDURES. 25.01 Subject to A. 25.02, the Employer shall post all full time permanent vacancies thirty-six (36) hours per week and level promotion opportunities at all job sites across the bargaining unit. The posting shall be placed in the Local Union Information Binder or communicated in such other method agreed to by the Union Management Consultation Committee. The posting shall be forwarded to the Local Union President for information prior to the posting. Employees at the site who wish to be considered for the position posted shall advise the Employer in writing of such desire.
