Union Xxxxxxx or Representative Rights During Working Hours. In a situation which requires a Union Representative’s attention during working hours, he/she shall not leave his/her regular duties without first obtaining permission to do so from his/her immediate Supervisor. It is understood that the taking of such time away from regular duties shall be kept to a minimum, and that permission will not be unreasonably withheld. The Union Representative shall return to their regular duties as expeditiously as possible. The Employer reserves the right to limit such time, if the time requested is unreasonable.
