Common use of Union’s Legal Committee Clause in Contracts

Union’s Legal Committee. The Union’s Legal Committee members (three (3) from Bargaining Xxxx 0 and two (2) from Bargaining Unit 15) shall be permitted time off with pay to attend meetings up to four (4) times per year. The Union will notify the Employer at least twenty-one (21) days in advance of the meeting date. During such time, they shall continue to be paid at their regular rate and shall receive all fringe benefits and seniority accrual. All travel, lodging, and meal expenses of the employees involved shall be the responsibility of the Union. The Union shall provide written notification to the Employer of the appointment of Legal Committee members by July 1 of each year and as soon as practicable when a replacement is named.
