Xxxxxxx Time. The Union shall designate one Chief xxxxxxx and four (4) stewards for each district. Each of the chief stewards and stewards shall be at a separate facility. The Union shall designate one xxxxxxx for general headquarters. Stewards shall be allowed a reasonable amount of time away from their regular duties to administer the Agreement at the facility where they work. Upon entering any work area other than their own and prior to engaging in any xxxxxxx duties, the xxxxxxx shall report to the supervisor of the work area. He shall identify the nature of the activity he is to perform. The Union shall provide written notification to the Employer of the appointment of stewards prior to such appointment being effective. No appointment will be recognized until written notification is received by the Employer. It is understood that the release of stewards or alternates is for contract administration purposes. Reasonable diligence will be exercised in performing their duties so that they do not interfere with the operational needs of the Employer. The designated release employee described in section 8.03 will be allowed to represent employees from State Bargaining Unit 1. Additionally, Union members who are delegates to the Union Conference (fifteen (15) maximum) shall receive paid time off to attend said conference. The Union will notify the Employer of the names of those employees who may use this time two (2) months in advance of the event. The chief xxxxxxx may travel to train new stewards. Such travel shall be coordinated with the Employer and shall be of reasonable duration.
Xxxxxxx Time. The Employer recognizes that, from time to time, it may be necessary for the Association to handle grievances, complaints, or other issues of contract administration during working hours. To this end the Association shall be provided a total of four (4) hours per pay period for use by its President or designated representative for handling such issues during working hours. Such time is cumulative up to eight (8) hours per month. A leave slip will be prepared and submitted to the administration for accounting purposes. If possible the leave slip will be presented in advance however when not feasible, a leave slip will be prepared and forwarded to management within a reasonable period of time within the affected pay period. Use of this time shall not cause classes to be uncovered.
Xxxxxxx Time. The xxxxxxx and his/her alternate shall be allowed to 7 investigate and process grievances without the loss of pay. Said time to be limited to ten 8 (10) hours a month excluding hearings.
Xxxxxxx Time. Each xxxxxxx shall be allowed a reasonable amount of time 10 to investigate and process grievances without the loss of pay, not to exceed two (2) hours 11 per grievance. Said time to be limited to ten (10) hours a month excluding hearings. 13 This time shall be granted at the discretion of the supervisor or department head, and 14 consent of the supervisor or department head shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Xxxxxxx Time. 1. The UNIVERSITY proposes that the LABORATORY fatigue time issue be moved to a Labor Management Meeting. This meeting will occur within thirty (30) days after ratification.
Xxxxxxx Time. Time spent by Union Stewards which exceeds that amount allowed under this Article; time spent by the Workers Compensation Coordinator, Union ESH Stewards, the Chief XXX Xxxxxxx, and the Chief Labor Xxxxxxx which exceeds that amount allowed under Article 11, time spent by Xxx Evaluation Stewards and the Chief Job Evaluation Xxxxxxx which exceeds that amount allowed under Article 11, will be billed to Teamsters Local No. 1150 on a monthly basis. Any monies due to the Company for this excess time, together with any applicable federal, state and/or local taxes, will be paid monthly by Local 1150 to the Company.

Xxxxxxx Time. The Association shall have the right to designate four (4) stewards, and upon the execution of this agreement, shall notify the City in writing of those employees so designated. The Association shall notify the City within seventy-two (72) hours of any change in the designation of the stewards, and the City shall not be required to recognize said stewards until receiving written authorization from the Association designating the xxxxxxx. The Association shall provide the City with a written statement setting forth the duties, obligations, authority, and responsibilities of the shop stewards. The Association shall take all acts necessary to minimize the use of City time by shop stewards for the purpose of investigating and processing grievances. The City will allow named Association stewards reasonable use of City time, subject to approval by the immediate supervisor, to process and investigate a grievance upon the request of an affected grievant. The supervisor will not arbitrarily deny such requests, but may take into consideration the needs of the service in designating the time to be allowed.
