Common use of Unpaid Extended Parental Leave Clause in Contracts

Unpaid Extended Parental Leave. Employees may request an unpaid leave of absence of up to one (1) year related to the birth or adoption of a child. This leave must commence within one (1) year of the birth or adoption. Application for this leave shall be in writing and provided to store management at least one (1) month in advance. All other provisions of Section 12.04 shall apply.
