Common use of UNPAID MISCELLANEOUS LEAVE Clause in Contracts

UNPAID MISCELLANEOUS LEAVE. Up to five (5) unpaid days may be permitted upon prior approval of the Superintendent providing that it does not cause a disruption or inconvenience to the normal day to day working environment of the school district. This leave may not be taken if an employee has exhausted sick leave and must be requested at least seven (7) work days in advance, except in emergency situations.
